The St. John's bowling team had a better day on Sunday as they opened EIBC conference play at Farmingdale Lanes. Both the Varsity and Junior Varsity 1 team registered 36 out of a possible 48 points in the league-style match, tying them for first place after day one. Overall, both of the top two teams went 5-1 on the day while the JV2 team took 22.5 points. Leading the squad for the day was Brandon Soedarmasto who finished +36 on the demanding college bowling medium #2 pattern.
