The 2016-17 bowling team tryouts concluded on September 17th at Herrill Lanes. Of the 21 bowlers who took part this year, 19 earned spots on the team. Leading the field after 18 games of qualifying across three days was freshman Chris Vietri, followed by freshman Brandon Soedarmasto and junior Zack Porter. The bowlers each bowled 6 games on the Atlanta (38'), Tokyo (43') and Beijing (35') oil patterns.
The team will begin organized practices on Tuesday in advance of their first tournament, which is set to take place the weekend of October 22-23 in Lancaster, PA.

We have chosen the three oil patterns that this year's tryouts will be bowled on. Saturday, September 3rd at Farmingdale will be a medium pattern (38-41 feet in length). Sunday, September 4th at Herrill will be a long pattern (43-47 feet), and Saturday, September 17 will be a short pattern (33-36 feet). Please plan accordingly.
Additionally, if you are on or near campus and would like to take the van to and from tryouts either day this weekend, please contact either of the coaches immediately with your name and cell phone number to reserve your spot. The van will be leaving from the public safety parking lot at 7:30AM sharp!
